Through hard work, good teamwork, and painstaking efforts, everyone was part of success regardless of the position he/she occupied. Dr. Ahmed Saif pointed out that such excellence would never be a cut-off point. It is noteworthy that among 27 Yemeni Universities, Al-Nasser ranked second making a remarkable progress over the position it got in the last university ranking. Though it has been recently established compared with other universities, Al-Nasser had an advanced place among Arab universities. The Webometrics ranking is based on a multiple indicator that takes into account the volume of the web contents (number of web pages and files) and the visibility and impact of these web publications according to the number of external inlinks (site citations) they received.
Upon participating in the workshop hosted by the University last Monday for upgrading the university curriculum, the Deputy Minister of Higher Education, Dr. Ali Qassim offered his great thanks to Al-Nasser for the keen efforts it made to keep pace with the standards of academic quality and accreditation in its educational system and teaching methods. Al-Nasser University, according to him, is a pioneer in applying and following up the criteria ascribed by Ministry of Higher Education. By doing so, it keeps itself always updated, and, thus, contributed to developing the Yemeni educational system producing in the process distinct graduates who would later be competitive professionals in the local and regional labour market.
