Tuesday, 25 April 2017

Information Systems junior students were taken on two visits organized by Faculty of Administrative & Financial Studies to the headquarter of Yemen Soft Co. located at 50-meter St., Sana’a on April 20 and 23, 2017.

Giving welcome to the visiting students, Mr. Ahmed El-Amri (Director of R & D Dept.) introduced them to the company’s establishment and development history, branches, international partners, and the mechanism by which software programs are produced and developed.

Mr. El-Amri noted that students should explore the different steps of the programming process (data collection, analysis, designing, and finally encoding) keeping in mind time order to get the best results.

The students thereafter toured the company’s departments including sales and networking. At the latter, Mr. Osamah El-Etabi (Head of Networking) presented an explanation about Yemen Soft network system and its particular technologies such as: firewall for security, Fiber-optic cables, integration of internet lines, and the modern system of branch linking.

According to Mr. Jaber El-Absi (Academic Deputy of Aptech Center at Al-Nasser University), the importance of conducting such visits arise from giving students a chance to know about Yemen Soft as a pioneer company specializing in programming systems and to identify the programming products and solutions it offers.
